My 4 year old son and I have read “The Curious Case of Krishna” a few times now. Yesterday, we read it in my mom’s presence and I could see her smiling the entire time. I have such fond memories of hearing stories about Kahnaiya from my grandma and reading this book all together sparked memories for all of us. I love the poetic verses and the sweet illustrations. In this book, I was able to see all the light-hearted depictions of Krishna — the butter thief illustrations made us all laugh. Thank you for helping me to pass on these stories to the next generation!
